The various parameters of the applet also allow you to specify a lower and upper bound for the colour values (so that they will always remain within a certain range) and to specify a seed for the random number generator.
By giving the same seed (and start colour) to two or more bars, you can ensure that they remain synchronized. The two lower bars on this page are synchronized.
